DOCTORAL PROGRAMS
Visiting Doctoral Fellows (Students) and Visiting Scholars
2.2. Visiting Doctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars
In addition to regular doctoral students, Wharton Doctoral Programs may accept a limited number of individuals as Visiting Doctoral Fellows. These appointments will normally be made in conjunction with a Department, and they are intended for visiting graduate students who have not yet received a Ph.D. Scholars who have received the doctorate and who have specific and limited research and education purposes are also accepted as Wharton Visiting Scholars from other institutions. Such students’ stay in the program is usually limited to one year but can be extended to eighteen months. Visiting Doctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars must have a faculty sponsor in the program before entering. Each application will be decided on an individual basis.
