Transfer of Credit  (optional)

 

  • Transfer of Graduate Courses for Credit toward PhD  Program

 (Max. 8 CU's)   

  • A request for a Transfer of Course Credit may be submitted during the first year in the PhD Program.  Courses will officially be transferred after the successful completion of the first year of coursework in the Doctoral Program and after final grades have been submitted for the Spring term.

 

 

 

 

  • Transcript from Graduate Institution were courses were taken.

 

  • Course Syllabus

 

  • Letter to Doctoral Office  from PhD Coordinator approving transfer of specific courses and list of PENN Course Equivalent for each course transferred

 

 

  Dissertation Proposal Defense (See Wharton Doctoral Programs Policies & Procedures)

 

 

 

 

 

*Signed form must be returned to Mallory Hiatt in the Doctoral Office following the defense.

*Graduate Group Chair (Vice Dean) signature is not required on Proposal Defense Form
